How it Works
How MEDCHILL™ Works
The science behind staying cool — without ice or electricity.
MEDCHILL™ uses phase-change cooling technology — the same principle trusted in medical and pharmaceutical cold-chain transport — packed into a case that fits in your bag or pocket.
Step 1 — Chill
Place the cooling insert in your refrigerator or freezer for at least [X hours] before first use.
Step 2 — Pack
Slide the chilled insert into the MEDCHILL™ case alongside your medication pen, pen cartridge, or vial.
Step 3 — Go
Zip it closed. The insert maintains a stable cool temperature for approximately [X hours] — no batteries, no ice melting into a soggy mess, no checking a temperature app.
Step 4 — Recharge
When the cooling cycle ends, simply re-chill the insert and you’re ready to go again. The case and insert are fully reusable.
Why temperature matters for GLP-1 and insulin medications
Most injectable GLP-1 medications and insulin are sensitive to heat. Manufacturer guidelines typically recommend storage between 2°C–8°C (36°F–46°F) when not in active use, and limited room-temperature exposure once in use. Repeated heat exposure can affect how well your medication works — which is exactly the problem MEDCHILL™ was designed to solve.
